A lot of folks who post on my message boards don't use graphical avatars. I don't know if that's because they haven't found any art that suits them, have no way to manipulate the art to a 60x60 pixel format, or no place to host the avatar, but I thought it would be fun to set up an area on my site with a bunch of EZboard-sized avatars that anyone could link to in their EZboard profile. So ... feel free to use these babies as your avatar, should you find one to your liking.

So far I have one category of avatars, perhaps as time goes by I'll add more.

Toren/Bonds of Magic Avatars
All of these illustrations are by my pal Toren Atkinson, an artist, game designer (he wrote Spaceship Zero), and musician (he's the leader of the H.P.Lovecraft tribute band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets). Toren did all of the interior illos for my book of arcane and divine spellcaster characters, Skreyn's Register: The Bonds of Magic. He was kind enough to donate these avatars (which come from that book) for use by people who visit my messageboards -- thanks, Toren!
