This was a joke about how TSR was actually owned by space aliens, which is why some of the management decisions made seemed to make no sense. The picture is deliberately grainy and blurry.

I posted this the month of my 25th birthday. The joke was that I had some bad cake, mutated into an insect-bodied form, and went on a rampage before vanishing into the mists of Wisconsin. The body is of a scorpion-creature 3D model I made, the head is from a photo shot for the Alternity game.

The fake result of a fake poll about who was the biggest jerk on the net. This was in response to me being a hardass to some people on the rec.games.frp.dnd newsgroup.

Posted because of complaints about typos in 2E products ... this editor (Keith Strohm, once an editor and until recently VP of Business for RPGs, now the same title but for Pokemon) was executed for "making the other editors look bad." The arm is Thomas Reid, creative director for the Star Wars RPG.

Complete with joke-ified names of and and quotes from the creative directors of Greyhawk (D&D) and Forgotten Realms, this drove people crazy, mainly because they two "creative directors" joked that "The fans were really going to hate this one." Both FR and GH fans freaked. I always wondered why they didn't believe the other tabloid links but believed this one....
Bruce Cordell Voted "Most Beautiful Man At TSR"
This joke was inspired by the photo, which was taken before Monte & Sue Cook's wedding. In the tabloid were fake quotes from me that I was mad that I hadn't won, but I had no chance compared to Bruce. The woman behind Bruce is his wife, Dee.
