Willow and I had been looking around for a pair of sibling kittens to help keep us and our other cat (Trushie) company after the loss of Brillig in May 2005. After looking at several places we went to a city shelter on August 5 and found two little 7-week-old kittens that hit all of the right buttons: playful, affectionate, talkative, and with many of the little habits that Brillig had as an adult. So we took them home. These are our first pictures of them at home. We named the gray one Mystick, the black one Malachi. Unfortunately, Mystick fell ill a few days later and died a week after we took her home (the vet thinks it was distemper, which most kittens don't survive). Malachi is doing fine and is growing like mad. As of September 12 we took home another kitten and she and Malachi are doing well. All of the pictures in this section are of Mystick and Malachi.
