Armorcast makes all kinds of cool resin terrain bits. These are the "bubbly craters" (2 to a set) and they were really fun to do. I basecoated the stone parts with a dark mix of Chaos Black and Codex Grey, then drybrushed it with Codex Grey. A wash of black ink, then a drybrush with Ghostly Grey and a partial drybrush of Snakebite Leather (to give it some more earthy parts and break up the texture a bit). The bubbly parts are Scaly Green at the edges, shading through Vile Green and then Scorpion Green in the center. The bubbly parts were washed with Reaper's Emerald Green Ink and then drybrushed wery lightly with Scorpion Green to draw out the surface texture. After spraying it with a clear matte finish, I painted the bubbly parts with a glossy finish (thanks, JD!) to make them look more liquidlike.
