Another weird terrain bit from Armorcast called the Skull Pillar. Like the Bone Pillar, it's just over six inches tall. This thing is really bizarre ... it starts out with a giant skull as the base, buried in the ground. Extending out of it is a pillar of rock, out of which are growing (sprouting, pushing themselves up from under the surface, whatever) skulls, bones, worms, snakes, eyes, bugs, and screaming mouths. Pretty freaky. I'll probably end up using it as some sort of chaos-device, cranking out undead, fiendish insects, worms, and gibbering mouthers until it's destroyed.

The skulls are skull colors, the worms are red and pink, the snaky things are greens, the fleshy bits are red lightening to a sickly pink, the bugs are turquoise, and the eyes are generally white with green irises and black pupils.

This poor thing was primed gray and drybrushed a lighter gray back when I was still in Seattle, and left otherwise unpainted for over a year. I finally finished painting it in November.
