These are Mantis Warriors from Chronopia. I don't know what race they are in that game, but I'm using them as bug-worshipping goblins. Because their armor is in thick strips like samurai lamellar armor, they're pretty easy to paint, mostly just a base coat and a drybrush. Armor base color is Green Steel drybrushed with Bright Gold. The helm and horns are Bright Gold brushed with Red Metallic. Goblin skin is Kilt Green brushed with Emerald. The wood poles on the weapons are Walnut with a light brush of Walnut/Woodland Brown. |
