Arcturus (Greek Hoplite Characters, Foundry)

This is part of Foundry's Greek Hoplite Characters pack (#WG2/6), and I'm using him for Arcturus, one of the PCs in my New Argonauts campaign. Arcturus is of Ares' line, a hotheaded man good with a sword and prone to fighting. To reflect his temper and that of Ares himself, Arcturus' player (Abdul) wanted a strong current of red overlaying the normal hoplite colors.

Standard hoplite armor, with gold over red-gold instead of gold over bronze. Clothing, hair, and crest are all red. You can't see it in either photo, but the emblem on his shield is the shield-and-spear symbol of Ares (aka Mars ... it's the "male" symbol, if you have no idea what I'm talking about).

Base is glued to a washer and smoothed with putty, painted black, and flocked with ground herb from Michael's craft store.
