Since I wanted some variety in these figs for use in Ghostwalk, I chose to paint them different colors, with a base coat of one color and a drybrush over that of a similar color (such as Scab Red and Blood Red). The swords, gauntlets, and steel boots of each of the ringwraiths is picked out in an appropriate metallic color (by Reaper): red with Fire Glow, gray with Steel Plate, green with Green Steel, blue with Blue Steel, and black with Gun Metal. And let me say right now that while I now have a complete set of Reaper paints (thanks, Ron!), I haven't gotten to use them much yet except for the metallics, but the metallics kick ass and so I suspect the other paints do, too. Anyway, then the metal parts were given a black wash to lessen them a little bit, and the bases were flocked.
