Brick #4 a.k.a. "Bot" from SuperFigs

This is a big robot mini (Brick #4, "Bot") from the SuperFigs superheroes line. I wanted to present him as a rusty thing that someone had found and done a good job of cleaning up, but was still a bit corroded in some places. So I painted it with Steel Plate, crammed some Walnut Brown and Fire Gold into the deep crevices to show places where the rust was too hard to get out, then drybrushed over those areas with Steel Plate to make sure the surface was covered with "clean" metal.

The end result was a little too plain ... with all of that metal coloration, it looked much like an unpainted mini. So I darkened up some Brass and Gold and picked out many spots on the mini, like the shoulder plates, some of the big bolts on the legs, abdomen, and chest. I then drybrushed the Steel Plate parts with Silver to make highlights on the big flat metal plates.

I used this mini to represent the shield guardian owned by Dras, the proprietor of the best-known magic shope in Manifest (Ghostwalk).
