I can't remember who makes this guy (I accidentally threw out the blister pack after I opened it) but I don't think it's a major player in the minis business (Tom K suggests it's Superior Models). I chose him specifically because I knew I'd need an armored guy with a flail for my adventure I ran at Winter Fantasy (He's Keltar, the cleric of Hextor who finds the magic flail that's the goal of the adventure. He's pretty simple: The armor and shield front is Chainmail mixed with Blood Red and a little bit of Fiery Orange (to make him less pink). The flail is pure Chainmail. Haft, belt, and shield back are Bestial Brown. Unicorn on helm is Chaos Black mixed with Chainmail. It was then washed with black ink to draw out the details. |
