This is WotC's Skeletal Minotaur figure. This was going to be part of a series of minis released to tie in to the Temple of Elemental Evil adventure by Monte Cook, but they decided to gear up for releasing Chainmail instead of the other minis, so I think only this one and the Troglodyte With Javelins were released to the public (there are a few copies of the other minis floating around, mainly among the WotC staff ... I have a Grell, for example).
This mini was painted at the same time as the Battered Skeletal Troll and I used the same colors and process on it. The only tricky part of this mini was bending it and positioning its limbs and head so that it would be balanced enough to not fall over easily. This mini has been used in my playtest campaign, particularly because Daniel's wizard Furka likes to use summon undead II to summon a Large skeleton, and a minotaur makes a Large skeleton. |
